About the Classical Virtuosi Competition

Founded in 2008 by Thomas Moore, it was his desire to develop and encourage the talent and potential of each individual through the power and transcendence of music. It is the vision of Classical Virtuosi to continue the work to which Mr. Thomas Moore dedicated his life.

This Competition is founded on this principle to give a much needed experience for Young Artists to attain the needed experiece as well as financial assistance in their persuit of their musical passions.

Congratulations to 2016 CVM Competition Winners and Finalists!

Winner of Competition A: Sahana Shravan will receive $1000 and solo with the Florida Youth Orchestra (Vivaldi "Winter").
Winner of Competition B: Tyler Maignan will receive $750 and play Symphonie Espagnole by Lalo with piano in the same concert.
The finalists were: Skylar Covert, Sahana Shravan, Valentina Paolucci, Tyler Maignan and Sophia Zheng.

Rules and Repertoire

Competition will be held on October 8th. First Round is between 9am-noon Three musicians will be choosen to advance to the final round.
